Elementaria Sanctitude is one of the best sentinels in Cardfight!! Vanguard. Bushiroad introduced this card as a promo card. Elementaria Sanctitude is a generic Order. Therefore, every clan and nation may play this card in the D-Standard and Premium Formats.
D-Standard Format:
Elementaria Sanctitude is a Blitz Order and you may play it during your opponent’s turn in battle. This card is the first Blitz Order that is a sentinel. It is a grade one card like most sentinels in Cardfight!! Vanguard.
In addition, you may only have one Elementaria Sanctitude in your deck. It counts towards your total number of sentinels. You may play three other sentinels with different names in your deck.
First Effect:
Elementaria Sanctitude negates an opponent’s attack without a cost if the opponent’s vanguard has triple drive! You do not need to discard a card to defend your vanguard. It is the perfect defense for the D-Standard Format. Elementaria Sanctitude keeps one card in your hand instead of it requiring you to discard a card.
The best advantage from Elementaria Sanctitude is the free effect under the proper conditions. You save a card in your hand for you defense. It makes a huge difference in a game because every resource matters. The card that you save may become very useful for blocking another attack.
Second Effect:
In addition, Elementaria Sanctitude only activates its defense if your vanguard is grade 3 or less. You may choose any of your units and the opponent is unable to hit it. Elementaria Sanctitude provides a strong defense for any card if your vanguard meets the requirement.
However, Elementaria Sanctitude is not a good fit in decks with grade 4 vanguards. This Sentinel does not work with grade 4 cards. You are unable to negate the opponent’s attack because they can hit your unit.
Therefore, I don’t recommend playing Elementaria Sanctitude in a deck with grade 4 units. You may become stuck in a situation with your grade 4 vanguard without any defensive options. This card cannot defend your vanguard in this situation.
Premium Format:
Elementaria Sanctitude shows its value in the premium format. This blitz order is the perfect sentinel against every G-Unit! You should consider playing one copy of this card in your deck. Elementaria blocks the attack from every G-Unit in the game because G-Units have triple drive.
Furthermore, Elementaria Sanctitude may save you in situations with a lot of pressure. For instance, Zeroth Dragon of Inferno, Drachma forces players to discard two cards and ride a new card to be the vanguard. reduces the pressure from Zeroth Dragon of Inferno, Drachma. Elementaria Sanctitude blocks his powerful attack without a cost and you may save your other cards for the opponent’s rear-guards.

Weaknesses in the Premium Format:
The premium format allows all cards in the game’s rich history, and some of these cards are from the V-Premium format. A few units from this format are answers for this sentinel. These units have multiple attacks as the vanguard without triple drive.
For instance, Dragonic Overlord “The X” (V Series) may attack three times in a single turn with Dragonic Overlord “The End” (V Series). This vanguard has twin drive instead of tripe drive. Elementaria Sanctitude would require you to discard a card to negate an attack from Dragonic Overlord “The X” (V Series).
Card Rating:
Overall, Elementaria Sanctitude is a phenomenal card. I recommend playing Elementaria Sanctitude in all of your decks in the Premium Format. It is the perfect Sentinel for the Premium Format and it is a nice defense in the D-Standard Format. You always need a good defense to win games. This card may give you that second chance for a big victory!
