Skydive Scorcher is a spell with a single effect in two parts. Its amazing artwork showcases on Elemental HERO Flame Wingman on a building. The card’s name is based on Elemental HERO Flame Wingman attack from Yu-Gi-Oh!: GX. It is one of the rare cards with a burn effect for Elemental HERO.
Effect: Part One
Skydive Scorcher destroys all of the opponent’s monsters with a higher ATK than one of your Elemental HERO fusion monsters. It also deals damage equal to the monster with the highest ATK to the opponent! Skydive Scorcher is an effective spell for Elemental HERO.
Skydive Scorcher is an effective card against swarm decks such as Blackwing and Six Samurai. Swarm decks have many monsters on the field. You destroy all of them with the effect of Skydive Scorcher.
Furthermore, Skydive Scorcher offers a great opportunity to deal massive damage on offense. Your opponent has a field without monster. Your Elemental Heroes can unleash direct attacks to possibly win the game.
Effect: Part Two
Skydive Scorcher deals damage equals to the total ATK of all of the opponent’s monsters that were destroyed by this card if a field spell with Skyscraper in its name is in your Field Zone. The second part of the effect rewards you for playing well. Skyscraper is a useful field card for Elemental Heroes and Skydive Scorcher increases the ability of its effect with Skyscraper.
Therefore, Skydive Scorcher has the potential to win the game. You can deal massive damage to an opponent with multiple monsters with a high ATK. For example, you deal 6,000 damage when Skydive Scorcher destroys two of the opponent’s Blue-Eyes White Dragons.
