Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden may add one light dragon from the deck to the hand with a level less or equal to the number of Lightsworn monsters with different names in the graveyard. This effect adds consistency to the deck. It provides access to Judgment Dragon and Lightsworn Dragonling. These cards are the main options for this effect.

Furthermore, Lightsworn Dragonling is a consistent target for this effect. This effect monster is level four. You are likely to have four different monsters with Lightsworn in their names in the graveyard during the early game. This effect monster may add Judgment Dragon to the hand. You may gain multiple resources with this strategy.

In addition, Judgment Dragon becomes an option for this effect during the mid-game and late game. Your graveyard should have eight more Lightsworn monsters with different names. Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden provides the deck’s boss, and you are in position for the special summon of Judgment Dragon.

Add these dragons to your hand with the first effect of Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden!

Second Effect:

Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden sends the top card of the deck when she is sent from the hand or deck to the graveyard. This effect mills an additional card. You are filing the graveyard of Lightsworn monsters for Judgment Dragon.

In addition, this effect has synergy with Felis, Lightsworn Archer and Wulf, Lightsworn Beast. Both of these effect monsters special summon themselves when they are sent to the graveyard. You have the potential to special summon these monsters.

Third Effect:

Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden sends the top two cards of the deck to the graveyard during the end phase. This effect is a standard ability for monsters with Lightsworn in their name. It sets up many of your cards. It has the potential to special summon particular monsters.

Furthermore, the main purpose of this ability is setting up Judgment Dragon. Lightsworn wants to mill cards on every turn. You need four monsters with Lightsworn in their name in the graveyard and they must have different names for the special summon of Judgment Dragon.

In addition, this effect complements with Wulf, Lightsworn Beast and Felis, Lightsworn Archer. It is the same strategy from the second effect of Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden. You have an opportunity to send these monsters to the graveyard. They will special summon themselves.

However, you are unlikely to activate the third effect of Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden. This effect monster is a tuner. You will likely use this effect monster as material for a synchro summon. Then, this card will not be on the field for the third effect.
