If you have a “Lightsworn” monster in your GY: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Special Summoned: You can send 1 “Lightsworn” card from your Deck to the GY, except “Lightsworn Dragonling”. If this card is sent to the GY: You can add 1 Dragon monster with 3000 ATK/2600 DEF from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of “Lightsworn Dragonling” once per turn.
Lightsworn Dragonling is one of the best cards for Lightsworns. Konami recently released this card in Legacy of Destruction. This effect monster have very good effects. This card adds consistency to the archetype. It helps provide access to powerful cards such as Judgment Dragon.

First Effect:
You may special summon Lightsworn Dragonling from your hand if your graveyard has a monster with Lightsworn in its name. This effect provides a lot of value. You are able go into your combos with this effect monster.
Furthermore, this effect’s condition is a very easy requirement for Lightsworns. Many monsters in the archetype mill cards from the deck to the graveyard. You can easily fulfill this condition on the first time. Lightsworn Dragonling is always a great card to draw at any time during a game.
Second Effect:
Lightsworn Dragonling may send a monster with Lightsworn in its name except for a copy of itself from the deck to the graveyard. This effect accelerates Lightsworns’ strategies. You have many options for this effect. You may send a monster with Lightsworn in its name to the graveyard with the intent to special summon it. The effect also sets up Judgment Dragon.
For example, Felis, Lightsworn Archer and Wulf, Lightsworn Beast may special summon themselves from the graveyard if an effect sent them to the graveyard. You may send one of these effect monsters to the graveyard. They will special summon themselves.
Third Effect:
Lightsworn Dragonling may add a dragon with 3,000 ATK and 2,600 DEF from the deck to the hand when this dragon leaves the field. This effect has two options for Lightsworns. You may add either Judgment Dragon or Punishment Dragon to your hand.
Therefore, this ability adds consistency for Judgment Dragon and Punishment Dragon. You can easily add these key cards to your hand without a cost. Your graveyard or banished cards may have the proper set up to special summon Judgment Dragon or Punishment Dragon after adding one of these cards to your hand.
You can send Lightsworn Dragonling to the graveyard with a variety of methods. You may use this effect monster as material for a synchro summon or link summon. This strategy provides a powerful monster from the extra deck. It would also activate Lightsworn Dragonling’s effect to add a card such as Judgment Dragon from the deck to the hand.
