Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi is support for Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra. This grade one unit adds offense and consistency to decks with Arms cards. It create its own offense with its first ability. The second ability adds consistency to the deck. It is another card with skill to add an Arms card to the hand.

Many cards from the D-Standard Formats such as Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi are legal cards in the Premium Format and the D-Standard Format. Bushiroad designed this card with only the D-Standard Format in mind. Its abilities only support its archetype. Its archetype of the Sealed Blaze is only a good fit in the D-Standard Format.

D-Standard Format:

Seal Blaze Dragon, Samahdi is support for Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra. This unit’s abilities revolve around Arms. Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra uses Arms for her strategy. This rear-guard gains power due when she has two Arms and may search the drop zone for Arms.

First Ability:

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi gains 5,000 power when you vanguard has two or more Arms. The total power of this unit becomes 13,000. This rear-guard can be useful booster in the back row or an attacker in the front row. The only vanguard with arms in Cardfight!! Vanguard at this time is Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra.

Therefore, you can create a strong column with Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi in the back row. This grade one unit is a good boost for your units in the front row. 13,000 power from a rear-guard in the back row is a strong boost and creates high numbers for attacks.

For example, a boost from Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi to Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra with Sealed Blaze Sword, Prithivih has a total power of 36,000 power! Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra swings a strong attack and has two criticals with her second ability. You put a lot of pressure on the opponent. The opponent must use a perfect guard or multiple cards to block the attack.

Second Ability:

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi may retire itself and you may add an Arms card from the drop zone to your hand. This ability adds consistency to Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra. It is a good option when you need an Arms card but you do not have one in your hand. You may activate this ability to add an Arms to card from the drop zone to the hand.

Furthermore, this ability is an useful effect for regaining Sealed Blaze Sword, Prithivih. This Arms sends itself to the drop zone after you use its effects. It is a powerful Arms for Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra. I recommend using the second ability of Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi, and regain access to this card if you do not have a copy of it in your hand.

However, the only downside of this ability is retiring Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi for the cost. You lose this rear-guard from the field. It provides a strong boost when it is on the field. The abilities of other units are your only options to return this unit from the drop zone to the field. The abilities of those units will have a cost.

Choose one of these Arms cards from the drop zone!
  • Sealed Blaze Spear, Aadhitya
  • Sealed Blaze Sword, Prithivih

Support:

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi has a lot of support from its archetype. It is a consistent card, and you should able able to activate both abilities during games. This rear-guard provides a strong boost to the best units for the archetype’s front row. It also has many options for Arms from the drop zone to add to your hand.

For example, Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra may superior call Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi from the drop zone. This duo can set up your vanguard for success. Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi may retire itself to add an additional Arms to your hand. You now have an additional Arms for the vanguard.

In addition, Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi and Sealed Blaze Dragon, Aaushniya have amazing synergy. You can create a good combo with these units. Sealed Blaze Dragon, Aaushniya may superior call Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi from the drop zone. Sealed Blaze Dragon, Aaushniya puts you in position to activate the second ability of Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi, and you may add an Arms card from the drop zone to your hand.

Premium Format:

Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi is a bad card for the Premium Format. Both of its abilities are too slow. This rear-guard requires your vanguard to have two Arms and the second ability returns an Arms card from the drop zone to the hand. These abilities will not have a consistent impact due to their slowness in the premium format.

Furthermore, Sealed Blaze Dragon, Samahdi only fits in a deck with Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra because she is the only vanguard with Arms cards at this time. This grade one unit does not provide value to the other decks of the Dragon Empire in the premium format. This rear-guard is a vanilla card in all other decks from this nation.

In addition, Seal Blaze Dragon Samahdi needs generic support form G-Units in the premium format, and it needs G-Units to empower it because this unit requires Arms for its first ability. Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Blazing Burst Dragon is a good card for this rear-guard.  This G-Unit adds 10,000 power to all of your rear-guards and the total power of Seal Blaze Dragon Samahdi becomes 18,000.
