Phantom Blaster Dragon is a legendary character in Cardfight!! Vanguard. He is a Shadow Paladin and member of the Keter Sanctuary. Phantom Blaster Dragon from the D Series is an Encounter card. You play Phantom Blaster Dragon in decks for the Keter Sanctuary n the D-Standard Format and decks for Shadow Paladins in the premium format.

First Ability:

Phantom Blaster Dragon superior calls a unit with Blaster in its name from the soul when he becomes your vanguard. You gain a free card for riding your vanguard. This card can become fuel for the second ability.

Furthermore, Phantom Blaster Dragon has awesome synergy with Blaster Dark. This ability triggers Blaster Dark’s ability to retire an opponent’s rear-guard. The opponent loses a key card from his or her field.

Second Ability:

Phantom Blaster Dragon gains 10,000 and one critical when you retire three of your rear-guards. In addition, this ability retires two of the opponent’s rear-guards. You gain a huge amount of power, and the opponent loses useful cards.

Furthermore, the additional power and critical put a lot of pressure on the opponent. Phantom Blaster Dragon will deal at least two damage, and you can deal additional damage with a critical trigger. An opponent needs to use many cards to defend his or her vanguard.

However, a perfect guard defeats this ability. It is the perfect defense against this type of ability. You would retire two units for Phantom Blaster Dragon, but you would not gain any ground in the match.

The premium format has excellent support for Phantom Blaster Dragon. Blaster Rapier (Shadow Paladin) and Blaster Dark (V Series) are strong rear-guards. They complement the archetype’s strategy.

In addition, Dark Dragon, Chainrancor Dragon is an amazing G-Unit. Dark Dragon, Chainrancor Dragon is able to copy the abilities of Phantom Blaster Dragon. The deck continues its strategy. You can activate the second ability of Phantom Blaster Dragon.
