Black Dragon Knight, Vortimer is a Gold Paladin with the power of units from Force clans, due to his first ability. The power of Black Dragon Knight, Vortimer becomes 10,000 with Scout of Darkness, Vortimer in your soul. Therefore, he has a strong body on the field.
Black Dragon Knight, Vortimer has fantastic offense and defense. He does not need a booster when he is your vanguard against most opponents if you fulfill the conditions of this ability. He swings an attack with 10,000 power. The additional power from this ability is great defense in the early game.
Second Ability:
Black Dragon Knight, Vortimer counter charges damage when you retire him for an ability’s cost. This ability complements Spectral Duke Dragon. This ability helps manage your resources. It reduces the cost of Spectral Duke Dragon’s ability.
Therefore, you regain the counter blast for your next turn. It is a great ability for regaining a counter blast. The face up card in the damage zone will be available. You can pay the cost to repeat Spectral Duke Dragon’s ability on the next turn.
Third Ability:
Spectral Duke Dragon needs rear-guards to retire for his finisher, and Black Dragon Knight, Vortimer delivers the troops! Black Dragon Knight, Vortimer superior calls two rear-guards from the top five cards of the deck when you ride Spectral Duke Dragon on him. You get two free cards after riding the vanguard.

Overall, Black Dragon Knight, Vortimer is a great card for Gold Paladin and Spectral Duke Dragon in the V-Standard format. This unit provides offense and resources. In addition, his third ability is a useful ability in the V-Standard format and Premium format. I recommend playing four copies of Black Dragon Knight, Vortimer in your deck with Spectral Duke Dragon.
