Yu-Gi-Oh! is one of my favorite pastimes. It is one of the best collectible card games. There are so many awesome cards to collect and almost every card as a rarity print. If you can imagine it then there is a Yu-Gi-Oh! card for it! Dragons, knights, wizards, machines, and so much more live in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh!
I first started playing Yu-Gi-Oh! when it was first released in the US. My friends and I had duels everyday on the school bus. Win or lose it was all fun! Unfortunately there were some jerks in middle school who stole my cards, and I lost my interest in the game. There were so many people trying to steal players’ cards that I didn’t want to invest in cards that may get stolen.
The spark returned in the spring of 2012. I started buying tons of new Yu-Gi-Oh! booster packs, special edition boxes, starter decks, structure decks, and tins. It was so exciting to buy singles of my favorite classic cards like Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. Every week there was something new to buy. It became so exciting to open booster packs to see if I got a foil card! I haven’t felt this much fun in a very long time.
Collecting Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and playing the game is a very joyful experience. I am glad the passion is back! My main focus is to build creative decks and collecting more rare cards. I am feeling the flow! Check out the video above and see my entire rare card collection!
