LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” is a warbeast from Lyrical Monasterio. She is the vanguard for the archetype of LettiaMateS. This card is an offensive and defensive unit. Her abilities resemble her effects from Stoicheia. This unit creates a strong offense from the vanguard circle. Her defense can be difficult for opponents to break during the late game.
Furthermore, Bushiroad has converted Magnolia from a warbeast for Stoicheia into a unit for Lyrical Monasterio. This design is a unique take on the character. The evil power of the Fantôme has corrupted Magnolia. Her appearance and abilities have changed. Her artwork is a female and humanoid cat.

D-Standard Format:
LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” is the grade three unit in the ride deck for LettiaMateS. This vanguard enables units in the back row to attack the opponent. This vanguard also increases the value of its fellow rear-guards’ shields.
First Ability:
LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” chooses two rear-guards in the back row and they gain the ability to attack the opponent. In addition, all rear-guards in the back row gain 10,000 power if the opponent has a grade three or greater vanguard. LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” also becomes a grade four vanguard and gains a drive for triple drive.
Therefore, LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” is generating a lot of offense. She is enabling up to five battles in a single turn. A front row with three units and a back row with two rear-guards equal five attacks in a turn. You can pressure the opponent with many battles and the rear-guards in the back row are now respectable units after they gain 10,000 power.
In addition, LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” has triple drive from this ability. Three drive checks pressure the opponent in battle. You have three opportunities to reveal one or more triggers. An overtrigger can turn the tide of any game.
Furthermore, this ability of LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” has the same strategy as her forms from Stoicheia. The goal is generating additional battles from rear-guards in the back row. For example, Sylvan Horned Beast King, Magnolia allows one of your rear-guards in the back row to attack the opponent.
First Ability: Cost Management
The deck for LettiaMateS can manage the costs for this ability. LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” requires a soul blast for the first effect and a counter blast for the second effect. Therefore, the soul is a priority for the deck, and it needs to add cards to the soul. The archetype has cards to build the soul. For example, LettiaMateS, Uncizera goes into the soul for the cost of her effect. LettiaMateS, Uncizera energy charges one energy and adds 5,000 power to another rear-guard.
Second Ability: Fantôme Skill
LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” has a defensive Fantôme Skill. This unit binds one to two Crimson Moons for the cost. It adds 5,000 shield to all rear-guards with LettiaMateS in their names, and it activates this ability for a second time if you bind two Crimson Moons. Therefore, all of your rear-guards are gaining 5,000 or 10,000 shield.
Furthermore, LettiaMateS, Tarnu complements the Fantôme Skill of LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme”. This grade one rear-guard has the ability to intercept from the back row. You may call LettiaMateS, Tarnu to boost a unit during your turn, and use her as a shield for the next turn. A grade one rear-guard with 15,000 shield if you bind two Crimson Moons has tremendous value on defense. You can conserve cards in your hand for offense or defense.
In addition, LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” returns one to two non-sentinel rear-guards from the field to your hand. This ability is a useful effect to return units without defensive skills to your hand. Cards such as LettiaMateS, Charis are more useful during your turn for their offensive abilities. LettiaMateS, Charis gains 2,000 power when you have a grade three or greater vanguard with Magnolia in its name.

Matchups: Weakness
LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” has a major weakness against control decks. These decks counter her Fantôme Skill. These decks can remove the rear-guards from the field. You lose the defensive advantages from the Fantôme Skill.
For instance, Aurora Battle Princess counters the defensive tactics of LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme”. Many units from Aurora Battle Princess can imprison rear-guards with LettiaMateS in their names. The imprisonment of these rear-guards weakens the defense. Aurora Battle Princess, Seraph Snow can imprison two rear-guards with a single ability.
In addition, the Star-vaders shut down the defensive strategy from LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme”. This evil archetype locks the opponent’s rear-guards. Locked cards are not rear-guards in this state until you can unlock them at the end of your turn. Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon (D Series) has abilities to lock an opponent’s rear-guard and retire all of the opponent’s rear-guards that were unlocked.
Premium Format:
LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” is a legal card in Bermuda Triangle in the premium format. She requires a main deck with mainly units with LettiaMateS in their names. This card also needs generic G-Units.
Furthermore, the Fantôme Skill of LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme” has value in the premium format against certain opponents such as Aqua Force, Pale Moon, and Nova Grappler. Those clans force on multiple battles. The additional defense from the Fantôme Skill can successfully block a wave of attacks from these clans.
Perfect Performance, Ange (G-Unit) is one of the strongest G-Units for Bermuda Triangle. You can have a strategy of Perfect Performance, Ange’s Generation Break for the majority of the turn. You may conclude the turn with the Fantôme Skill of LettiaMateS, Magnolia “Fantôme”.
