You may fusion summon Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon by tribulating a Blue-Eyes White Dragon with a fusion monster equipped to it. This effect is a homage of the anime. It provides a secondary method for the fusion summon of this monster. It works in decks with the The Claw of Hermos and The Fang of Critias.
Furthermore, The Claw of Hermos and The Fang of Critias fusion summon fusion monsters, and you may equip these unique monsters to a Blue-Eyes White Dragon. You may equip Blue-Eyes White Dragon with a fusion monster such as Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword. You will be in position for this effect.
However, this effect is not a good method for the fusion summon of Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon. This method requires many resources such as Blue-Eyes White Dragon with a fusion monster required to it. Melody of Awakening Dragons can add two Blue-Eyes White Dragons to the hand. Then, you are in a good position for a fusion summon with Polymerization or Ultimate Fusion.
Ultimate Fusion is the ideal spell for the fusion summon of Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon. You may use Blue-Eyes White Dragon from the hand or graveyard as material and shuffle it back into the deck. You gain a fusion monster and return key cards to the deck.
For example, Ultimate Fusion may use two Blue-Eyes White Dragons as the fusion materials for the fusion summon of Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon.
