It is also a member of the Dimensional Police and has the Imaginary Gift: Force. this card pays homage to the original card with its abilities. Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) is a legal card in the v-premium and premium formats.
First Ability:
Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) superior calls Metalborg, Ur Buster (V Series) from the deck when you ride this grade 3 unit. Your field gains a grade 2 rear-guard. Therefore, you have more offense on the field. These units complement each other.
Furthermore, Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) has synergy with Metalborg, Ur Buster (V Series). Metalborg, Ur Buster (V Series) retires an opponent’s rear-guard and gains 10,000 power when you place this grade 2 unit on the field. This combo builds your momentum for the turn. You have two units with abilities increasing their power. The opponent loses a key rear-guard and the ability chooses any of the opponent’s rear-guards.
In addition, this ability of Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) does not have a cost. You have save a card in your hand. This grade 3 unit is superior calling a unit from the deck.
Second Ability:
Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) gains 10,000 power and prevents the opponent from calling grade 1 or greater units from their hand when this unit attacks the opponent. This unit has a burst of offense and weakens the opponent’s defense.
Furthermore, Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) can further increase its power with the Imaginary Gift: Force 1. Imaginary Gift: Force 1 adds 10,000 power to this grade 3. Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) would have a total of 33,000 power.
You also have the option of Imaginary Gift: Force II. Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) gains an additional critical. This strategy forces the opponent guard this attack because a vanguard with two criticals can potentially end the game if your drive check provides one or more critical trigger.
However, opponents may play around this ability. An opponent may only use his or her triggers (grade 0) to block an attack from Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series). Card Rating:
Overall, Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) is a mediocre card and does not live up to the original version from the era of Legion. Its abilities reflect the original card, but opponents are able to play around the defensive limitations from its ability. This card has good support from its archetype, but a card needs a good effect to pressure an opponent. Therefore, I only recommend Metalborg, Sin Buster (V Series) in a casual deck for the v-premium format and premium format.
