Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus is a classic unit from the early days of Cardfight!! Vanguard. The original card was not an impressive rear-guard. The new version of Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus has fantastic abilities. Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus is a great addition to Ezel in the V-Premium and Premium formats.
First Ability:
Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus is an offensive rear-guard, and he constantly pressures the opponent. Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus gains 5,000 power for every card with Ezel in its name in your soul. His power gradually increases throughout the game. He forces the opponent to use many cards to block his attack.
For example, Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus gains 20,000 power if you have four cards with Ezel in the soul. his total power would be 29,000 without a boost. An opponent would need to use at least two cards to successfully block the attack.
Furthermore, Salvation Lion, Grand Ezel Scissors (V Series) fuels this ability. Salvation Lion, Grand Ezel Scissors (V Series) sends a unit with Ezel in its name from your hand to the soul. You may constantly increase Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus’s power during every main phase.
Second Ability:
Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus attacks all of your opponent’s rear-guards in a column. It is an effective ability for retiring the opponent’s rear-guards. The ability does not have a cost, and you save your resources for other abilities.
Furthermore, you are almost guaranteed to retire at least one of the opponent’s rear-guard in battle. A smart opponent would not use cards to defend both rear-guards. The opponent would spend any resources for two rear-guards. Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus should weaken the opposition’s field.
In addition, this ability requires two or more grade 3 units in your soul. This ability fits in Salvation Lion, Grand Ezel Scissors’s strategy. You are constantly put copies of Ezel in the soul to enable this ability.

You may superior call Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus with Absolution Lion King, Mithril Ezel’s ability. It is a simple combo to call a unit from the deck. You get good offense from Knight of Passion, Bagdemagus.
