Torridcannon Dragon has one ability with multiple effects. Due to this generic ability, you can this card in any deck. Each effect provides a an advantage for many decks in Kagero.
Ability: Part One
Torridcannon Dragon returns a normal unit from the drop zone to the bottom of the deck for part of the ability’s cost. This cost provides a lot of value for decks. You are sending a card back to the deck with the probability to replay it.
Ability: Part Two
Second, Torridcannon Dragon retires an opponent’s grade 2 or less rear-guard. You are effectively countering the opponent’s strategy. He or she loses their best rear-guard. You can weaken their defense if you retire a grade 2 rear-guard.
Ability: Part Three
Third, Torridcannon Dragon allows you to draw a card if your hand has four or less cards. This is a strong effect if you have a weak hand. An additional card is an additional resource.
Therefore, Torridcannon Dragon quickly gives access to your resources. You may use the new card for offense or defense. The ability cycles through your deck.
Overlord:
This ability has synergy for Dragonic Overlord “The X” (V Series). Torridcannon Dragon can send any version of Dragonic Overlord from the drop zone to the deck. This ability sets the stage for this particular deck. Dragonic Overlord “The X” needs to add any other copy of Dragonic Overlord from the deck to the soul.

Torridcannon Dragon is a great card for Overlord decks in the premium format. Dragonic Overlord needs copies of cards with Overlord or Dragonic Overlord in their names. You may recycle these cards from the drop zone to the deck.
For example, Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord “The Purge” benefits from Torridcannon Dragon. You need an Overlord in your hand for Supreme Heavenly Emperor Dragon, Dragonic Overlord “The Purge”. Torridcannon Dragon ensures you to have the right pieces in the deck, and you can gain access to them.
In addition, Lizard General, Conroe complements the this strategy. Lizard General, Conroe adds an Overlord from the deck to the hand. It is a good combo with Torridcannon Dragon.

Overall, Torridcannon Dragon is a fantastic rear-guard with a great ability. I recommend playing three to four copies of this card with Dragonic Overlord. This card complements the archetype’s strategy with copies of Overlord in the hand. Torridcannon Dragon ensures the deck will have copies of the archetype for your abilities.
