When an opponent’s monster declares an attack: You can send 1 “Marincess” monster from your hand to the GY; for that battle, monsters cannot be destroyed by battle, also you take no battle damage.

First Effect:
Marincess Marbled Rock adds one card with Marincess in its name from the graveyard to the hand. This effect may add a monster, spell, or trap from the archetype. You may activate this effect once per turn.
Furthermore, Marincess Marbled Rock sets up strong combos or protection. You are regaining an important card from the graveyard. The archetype has many strong cards and great options.
For instance, Marincess Wave protects your monsters from the opponent’s effects. It is a great card to add to your hand. You may have activated the trap earlier in the duel. Marincess Marbled Rock returns the card to your hand. You have consistent protection of your monsters.
Second Effect:
Marincess Marbled Rock may send a monster with Marincess in its name to the graveyard when the opponent declares an attack with his or her monster. Your monster cannot be destroyed. You also will not take any damage from the battle. This effect protects your monster and life points. It is good defensive skill when the opponent has a strong monster on the field.
Furthermore, the first effect may provide the resource for the second’s effects cost. Marincess Marbled Rock may add a monster with Marincess in its name to your hand. Then, you may discard the same monster during the opponent’s turn to prevent the destruction of one of your monsters and to protect your life points.

In addition, Marincess Battle Ocean elevates the offense of Marincess Marbled Rock. This field spell adds 200 ATK to this link monster, and it adds an additional 600 ATK for each equipped card with Marincess in its name to this monster. You can easily summon this monster to the field. This card becomes an offensive powerhouse with the effects of Marincess Battle Ocean. Therefore, I recommend playing one or two copies of Marincess Marbled Rock in your extra deck.
