This spellcaster enables this special summon when she banishes a Lightsworn for the cost of her first effect.

Weakness:

However, Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress has a flaw and her ability is a situational effect. Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress does not negate the effect of the spell or trap. You need the opponent to have multiple spells or traps on the field. Then, this effect monster can destroy one of the opponent’s other spells or traps on the field.

For instance, the opponent may activate Mirror Force. Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress would need to target and destroy one of the opponent’s other spells or traps on the field. The opponent loses one of his or her cards.

Second Effect:

Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress sends the top three cards of the deck to the graveyard when a monster with Lightsworn in its name activates an effect. This effect adds consistency to the deck. It sets up the special summon of Judgment Dragon. It also sets special summon cards such as Wulf, Lightsworn Beast.

Furthermore, Lightsworn can consistently activate the second effect of Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress. Many monsters in the archetype have effects, and they also send cards from the deck to the graveyard. You should be able to activate her effect during every turn.

For instance, the effect of Lightsworn Dragonling sends a card with Lightsworn in its name from the deck to the graveyard. Then, this action triggers the second effect of Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress. You will be able to send the top three cards from the deck to the graveyard.
