“Elemental HERO Heat” + “Elemental HERO Lady Heat”
Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card battles a WATER monster, this card gains 1000 ATK during the Damage Step only.

Elemental HERO has a long list of fusion monsters. One of these fusion monsters is Elemental HERO Inferno. This card is the archetype’s ace against decks with water monsters. This fusion monster gains ATK in battle against water monsters.

First Effect:

Elemental HERO Inferno can only be fusion summoned. You can only special summon card with the proper conditions and materials for a fusion summon. This limitation restricts your options to play this card.

Therefore, you and the opponent cannot special summon this fusion monster with any other methods. You and the opponent are unable to use Monster Reborn to special summon Elemental HERO Inferno. This fusion monster may leave the field for the remainder of the duel in my situations.

However, a few cards can ignore this limitation. Elemental HERO Core may special summon Elemental HERO Inferno from the graveyard. The effect of Elemental HERO Core ignores the summoning conditions of a fusion monster.

Second Effect:

Elemental HERO Inferno gains 1,000 ATK when he battles a water monster. Therefore, the total ATK of this fusion monster becomes 3,300 only in a battle against a water monster. This effect provides an offensive advantage.

However, this effect is a situational ability. You will only consistently gain this effect against decks with water monster such as Marincess. Many decks do not have any water monsters. You cannot rely on Elemental HERO Inferno for this boost in ATK.

Therefore, you have better options of fusion monsters for Elemental HERO. These other fusion monsters of Elemental HERO have consistent effects against any opponent. You can rely on these cards for your advantage.

For instance, Elemental HERO Sunrise is a better card than Elemental HERO Inferno. Elemental HERO Sunrise adds 200 ATK to your Elemental Heroes for each different attribute on your side of the field. You can also add Miracle Fusion from the deck to the hand.

Fusion Summon:

Elemental HERO Inferno requires Elemental HERO Heat and Elemental HERO Lady Heat for materials. You can easily get access to these effect monsters with E-Emergency Call and Elemental HERO Stratos. These cards provide access to this fusion monster’s fusion materials.

Support:

Elemental HERO Inferno has good support from Elemental HERO. The archetype can easily search for this fusion monster’s material. Generic cards can support this fusion monster in battle.

Elemental HERO Sunrise is an effective fusion monster on the field with Elemental HERO Inferno. They are a strong duo with an impressive offense. Elemental HERO Sunrise adds 200 ATK for each different attribute on the field to all Elemental Heroes on the field. Therefore, Elemental HERO Inferno has a total of 2.700 ATK with Elemental HERO Sunrise on the field. You can inflict massive damage in battle.

DNA Transplant adds consistency to Elemental HERO Inferno. This trap changes the attribute of all monsters on the field, and you may select water. This trap enables the activation of Elemental HERO Inferno’s effect in every battle. This fusion monster will consistently gain 1,000 ATK in battle.

Card Rating:

Overall, Elemental HERO Inferno is a mediocre card. You cannot consistently rely on this fusion monster in games because he only has an advantage against water monsters. Elemental HERO has better options for fusion monsters. This card is a causal card for games. Therefore, I only recommend playing Elemental HERO Inferno in a casual deck for fun games.

Card Rating: 1.5 out of 5.0 stars
