GOAT standards for the greatest of all times. Right now, Oracle Think Tank is making the argument of being the GOAT of Cardfight!! Vanguard. Oracle Think Tank is already one of the best clans in standard and premium formats, and just became even better with Bushiroad’s latest update. The new Magus units from V-Trial Deck: 5 Misaki Tokua are going to dominate the competition. They will work in harmony with cards from Unite! Team Q4 and further strengthen an already good deck for Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze .
Hexagonal Magus
AUTO (VC) When placed, COST [Counter Blast 1], look at the top two cards of your deck, put them on the top of your deck in any order, and draw a card.
AUTO (VC/RC) When you drive check a Trigger Unit, this unit gets Power+5000 until end of turn.
Rectangle Magus
AUTO (RC) When placed, COST [Counter Blast 1 & Soul Blast 1], look at the top two cards of your deck, put them on the top of your deck in any order and draw a card.
AUTO (RC) When you drive check a Trigger Unit, this unit gets Power+5000 until end of turn.
Cuore Magus
AUTO (VC/RC) When placed, look at the top two cards of your deck, and put them on top of your deck in any order. (If you ride over Lozenge Magus, you may resolve either ability first)
Dominating the Standard Format
These cards have synergy with the current cards. CEO Amaterasu will benefit from Cuore Magus and Rectangle Magus. Their skills will increase her power, and you can place triggers on top of your deck. Finally, Imperial Daughter will be the grand finale and seal the win for you. Your opponent cannot risk gambling with low shields to block your vanguard’s attacks. He or she must play Sentinels, or risk losing the game.
Furthermore, Lozenge Magus is now a really good starting vanguard. Cuore Magus lets you pick one of the top two cards of your deck to draw. Always use her ability first before activating Lozenge Magus’s skill. Most opponents will not block your first attack, and you can pull a crafty play by placing a critical trigger on top of your deck. Then, you can deal two damage in the early game.
All Hail Lord Gyze!
Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze becomes more consistent with this powerful trio and the current cards. He does not need these cards, but he is not complaining. You are manipulating the deck to check for triggers. You should be able to stride Gyze in a few turns. In addition to checking triggers, you can also manipulate the deck to draw a copy of your vanguard. You will need it to Ultimate Stride Dragon Deity of Destruction, Gyze!
Defense Wins Championships!
Oracle Think Tank just got another huge boost to its defense. These new cards increase your hand size to give you a strong defense. You can also place heal triggers on top of your deck to control your damage. In addition to drawing cards, we now have a grade 2 unit with the ability to draw a card without discarding a card. You are now gaining cards instead of breaking even.
Greatest Clan of All Time
It is official. There is no doubt in my mind that Oracle Think Tank is the greatest clan of all time. The cards from Cardfight!! Vanguard V are very consistent. They have great defense with large hands, Promise Daughter dodging retirement, and can generate a strong offense with many triggers. Look for Oracle Think Tank to dominate Cardfight!! Vanguard throughout the next format.
