First Effect:
Cosmic Quasar Dragon negates the effects of the opponent’s cards up to the amount of materials plus one for this card’s Synchro Summon. In addition, this effect cannot be negated and the opponent is unable to respond to it. You have the potential to negate many of the opponents. This effect can change the momentum of the game. The opponent loses his or her advantages and he or she cannot prevent this effect.
The ability to negate the effects of multiple cards is an extremely powerful effect. The effect may turn the duel in your favor. The opponent loses all of his or her advantages of their effects. The opposing cards may lose protection from your cards.
For example, Cosmic Quasar Dragon counters monsters such as Daigusto Sphreez, Masked HERO Divine Wind, and Zaphion, the Timelord. All of these monsters have the effects with protection and they cannot be destroyed by effects. Those monsters lose the protection because Cosmic Quasar Dragon negates their effects. Those monsters would become vulnerable to the effects of your other cards.
Second Third Effect:
Cosmic Quasar Dragon may banish itself to special summon one dragon Synchro Monster from your extra deck. This special summon is considered a Synchro Summon. You can easily switch this monster for another monster. It can be an effective strategy after you negate the effects of the opponent’s cards.
Furthermore, this effect enables a OTK because the monsters for this effect have a high ATK. This effect is a quick effect and you may activate it during the battle phase. Cosmic Quasar Dragon may attack the opponent, and then you may special summon Cosmic Blazar Dragon with 4,000 ATK for an additional attack.
Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon is currently the best Synchro Monster to special summon from this ability. This card has powerful effects and good stats. Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon provides protection for all of your cards. This Synchro Monster negates the effect of an opponent’s monster and destroys it. Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon also has an impressive 4,000 ATK.

Currently the best support for Cosmic Quasar Dragon are generic cards, Junk, Stardust, and Synchron. This Synchro Monster needs a deck with the ability to quickly summon many Synchro Monsters for the Synchro summon of this card. These are the best decks to consistently play this card.
Final Cross has some synergy with Cosmic Quasar Dragon. Final Cross allows a Synchro Monster to attack twice per turn. Cosmic Quasar Dragon has 4,000 ATK and can potentially inflict a total of 8,000 ATK with two attacks in a turn. However, Cosmic Quasar Dragon does not gain the second part of Final Cross’s effect because the second part requires a Synchro Monster with Stardust, Synchron, or Warrior in the name.
