Bushiroad celebrates 15 years of Cardfight!! Vanguard. We have experienced 15 years of cardfights. The game continues to grow its legacy among trading card games. Bushiroad has new trial decks for Blaster Blade and Dragonic Overlord!
New trials decks of Aichi Sendo’s Blaster Blade and Toshiki Kai’s Dragonic Overlord honor the game’s legacy. The first trial decks featured these character’s decks and avatars. The D-Standard Format now has modern versions for both decks. Veterans and younger players can relive the first era of Cardfight!! Vanguard.
Fighter Icons
Cardfight!! Vanguard Special Series 13: Blaster Blade Start Deck and Cardfight!! Vanguard Special Series 14: Dragonic Overlord Start Deck introduce the Fighter Icons. These icons are a new mechanic in Cardfgiht!! Vanguard. A Fighter Icon symbolizes a character from the anime. These Fighter Icons offer abilities and requirements for abilities.
In addition, Cardfight!! Vanguard Special Series 13: Blaster Blade Start Deck includes units with the Aichi Icon. These unique units support members with the same Fighter Icon. They are new versions of these units. For instance, Blaster Blade (Fighter Icon) is a new card with different abilities than Blaster Blade (D Series).
Furthermore, Cardfight!! Vanguard Special Series 14: Dragonic Overlord Start Deck features units with the Kai Icon. These units are unique versions of class units. The Dragonic Overlord (Fighter Icon) is a new card with different abilities than Dragonic Overlord (D Series).

Blaster Blade (Fighter Icon) is a very powerful unit. This card is the grade two unit for the ride deck. Blaster Blade (Fighter Icon) retires an opponent’s rear-guard, and Blaster Blade (Fighter Icon) gains 10,000 power when your vanguard has the Aichi Icon.
King of Knights, Alfred (Fighter Icon)
The king of the United Sanctuary charges into battle! King of Knights, Alfred (Fighter Icon) is the grade three unit in the ride deck. He has three powerful abilities. He gains 2,000 power for reach of your rear-guards, and he superior calls two units from the deck. This unit has a unique ability for his persona ride on any grade three unit with the Aichi Icon.
Cardfight!! Vanguard Special Series 14: Dragonic Overlord Start Deck
The flames of the apocalypse burn its enemies to ashes! Dragonic Overlord takes center stage in Cardfight!! Vanguard Special Series 14: Dragonic Overlord Start Deck! This start deck features new version of Toshiki Kai’s deck. Each card has the stamp of Toshiki Kai.

Dragonic Overlord (Fighter Icon) is the newest version of Dragonic Overlord in the D-Standard Format. This unit has abilities to stand himself after battle. Dragonic Overlord (Fighter Icon) stands himself as a vanguard and he has multiple battles as a vanguard. In addition, Dragonic Overlord (Fighter Icon) has an ability to stand himself when he is a rear-guard on the field.
Dragon Knight, Nehalem (Fighter Icon)
Dragon Knight, Nehalem (Fighter Icon) is the second version of Dragon Knight, Nehalem in the D-Standard Format. This version has three abilities. This unit adds a card with the Kai Icon to your hand without a cost. This unit also superior calls himself from the drop zone. He also reduces the cost of your vanguard’s abilities.
