In addition, Heart of the Blue-Eyes may special summon itself from the graveyard. You may only activate this effect if you have successfully activated Millennium Ankh during this duel. This effect counters the opponent’s strategy and provides this card on the field.

Furthermore, Heart of the Blue-Eyes controls the field and counters many decks. All decks in the modern game of Yu-Gi-Oh! special summon monsters. Heart of the Blue-Eyes send those monsters to the graveyard. This effect monster can send powerful cards such as fusion monsters, link monsters, and synchro monsters directly to the graveyard.

However, this effect requires you to successfully activate Millennium Ankh during this duel. An opponent can negate Millennium Ankh with a variety of cards. Then, you will be unable to activate this effect of Heart of the Blue-Eyes if you fail to successfully activate this spell.
