Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Review: Fusion Draft

[Spell]

Discard 1 card, then reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck; add 1 of the Fusion Materials whose names are mentioned on that revealed monster from your Deck or GY to your hand, except the discarded card, then you can add a second such card to your hand, if the first card added was a Normal Monster. For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters. You can only activate 1 “Fusion Draft” per turn.

Furthermore, the order of your selection is an important discussion for Fusion Draft. The effect requires a particular order to obtain two monsters. You must first select the normal monster to obtain the effect to add a second monster to your hand. Therefore, you need to add the normal monster and then the second monster. Your hand now has the materials for your fusion summon.
