D-Standard Format:
Amantes Amentes, Octavia is an Ace Unit for Lyrical Monasterio. The deck can only play one copy of this card. This unit has generic abilities.
In addition, Amantes Amentes, Octavia has a Unique Skill for an Ace Unit. You may only active her Unique Skill once per game. Her skill supports a variety of decks from Lyrical Monasterio.
First Ability: Unique Skill
Amantes Amentes, Octavia gains 5,000 power when you call her on the field except during the battle phase. In addition, you may draw a card and one of your rear-guards on the field gains the ability to return to your hand.
Furthermore, the Unique Skill of Amantes Amentes, Octavia can only activate its effect once per game. You must time it correctly for the full benefits. It should be part of the finisher with your vanguard.
However, Amantes Amentes, Octavia’s only drawback is her limitation for when you call her. Bushiroad missed an opportunity with this card. Many vanguards from Lyrical Monasterio superior call units during the battle phase. The Unique Skill of this unit does not have synergy with these cards such as Fated One of Ever-changing, Krysrain, but her second ability works with these units.
Second Ability:
Amantes Amentes, Octavia gains 5,000 power when your opponent has a grade three or greater vanguard. In addition, she gains an additional 5,000 power if you call two or more rear-guards. This ability enhances this rear-guard’s offense. She consistently becomes a powerful rear-guard during the late game.
Therefore, Amantes Amentes, Octavia has 25,000 power with the power from both abilities. You can create a strong column with this unit. The back row requires a grade one with a strong boost. Then, this grade two unit will put a lot of pressure on the opponent.
Support:
Amantes Amentes, Octavia is a generic card. She provides support to all decks from Lrnical Monasterio. She has the most synergy with archetypes of mermaids.
Amantes Amentes, Octavia has synergy with Coral. Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) may stand Amantes Amentes, Octavia for a second battle. This strategy puts a lot of pressure on the opponent during the turn with the Unique Skill. This grade two rear-guard swings a strong attack.
