Effect:

Celestia, Lightsworn Angel has multiple abilities in her single effect. She sends the top four cards of the deck to the yard, and she destroys two  of the opponent’s cards on the field. This effect only activates its ability when you normal summon this effect monster by tributing a monster with Lightsworn in its name.

Furthermore, Celestia, Lightsworn Angel has control over the field when you summon her. She can destroy monsters, spells, and traps. You should target the opponent’s best cards on the field, and this tactic counters the opponent’s strategy.

In addition, Celestia, Lightsworn Angel enables the special summon of Judgment Dragon. Judgment Dragon requires four different monsters with Lightsworn in their names for its special summon. Her effect has the potential to send up to four different monsters with Lightsworn in their names. Your graveyard may meet the conditions for the special summon of Judgment Dragon.

However, Celestia, Lightsworn Angel requires a tribute for her effect. You must normal summon her for this effect. A special summon of this card will not trigger the ability.

Card Rating:

Overall, Celestia, Lightsworn Angel is a mediocre card for Lightsworn. This effect monster is a slow card for today’s game of Yu-Gi-Oh!. She controls the field and she has a nice ability to destroy two of the opponent’s cards. On the other hand, she requires a tribute summon for her effect. Therefore, I only recommend playing Celestia, Lightsworn Angel in a casual deck.
