First Effect:
First of the Dragonlords must be fusion summon. You cannot summon this card with other options. This restriction limits the ability to play this card.
Therefore, this restriction makes it difficult to regain access to this card when it leaves the field. You cannot special summon this fusion monster with other tactics. For instance, you cannot activate Monster Reborn for First of the Dragonlords.
Second Effect:
First of the Dragonlords cannot be destroyed by battle and is unaffected effects from monsters. This effect provides protection for this fusion monster. An opponent cannot destroy or banish this card with a monster’s effect.
Therefore, First of the Dragonlords can be a huge problem for opponents. They cannot easily remove this fusion monster from the field. First of the Dragonlords can inflict massive damage with its high ATK without an answer from the opponent if the opponent lacks any spells and traps on the field.
However, this effect does not protect First of the Dragonlords from the opponent’s spells and traps. An opponent play cards such as Raigeki to destroy this fusion monster. Traps such as Deep Dark Trap Hole can banish this fusion monster.
